You need to have at least one credit before you can make a request for a book. One way of earning credits is by putting up your own books for exchange.
You get one credit for every three books that you put up for exchange.
To add books to your inventory for exchange:
1.
Log in to your account.
2. Click
Account on the navigation bar.
The system will display the
My Book Inventory screen.
3. Click the
Add New Book button.
The
Post New Book form will be displayed on the screen.
You have to search for the book in the Reader Safari master database. If the book is found, you can add it to your inventory.
4. Type the details of the book that you would like to put up for exchange and click the
Find Book button.
Note: It is not necessary to type all the details. For example, if you do not know the ISBN number of the book, you can leave it blank.
Tip: For ISBN Code, do not type the hyphens in the ISBN. For example, if the book has an ISBN Number of 0-75252-786-X, type it as
075252786X.
Reader Safari will search through its master database and display the list of matching books found, if any.
5. If your book does not appear in the list, or if the list is empty (meaning that no matching books were found), refine the search criteria and click the
Find Book button again.
Note: If there are more than 10 books found, Reader Safari will display the results on multiple pages.
If there are multiple pages of results, you will see a list of page numbers below the list of books.

Click on one of these numbers to jump to that page. For example, click on 4 to jump to the fourth page.

If there are more than 10 pages, click on the ellipsis (...), to view the next set of 10 pages.
6. If your book appears in the list, click the
Select button in the same row as the book, to add the book to your Book Inventory listing.
The book will be added to your inventory of books for exchange and you will return to the
My Book Inventory screen.
Note: You can add a book to your inventory only if it is found in Reader Safari's master database. The master database has an extensive listing which covers 99.9% of all books.
